Day 8, 9 and 10, The Second Week Begins

by admin on April 4, 2013

At Mondays weekly weigh in, I was very pleased with the results that I saw on the body fat scales. Not only had I lost 7.4 pounds in body weight. But my body fat percentage had dropped by 1% according to the scales. So, I was a very happy man. Over the last few days though, whilst I have been eating all the foods that I prepare for myself for the day ahead. I have been snacking a little on crisps and chocalate. Not a lot mind you, but this snacking is not going to allow me to reach my fat loss goals. So I need to knock it on the head fast.

I think by seeing good numbers at Mondays weigh in, I have gotten a little complacent. I have got another 4 days till week 2′s weigh in. So if I knuckle down and stick to the diet plan. I should still be on track for good results on the scales. I have probably been eating around 500 calories in junk extra over the last 2 days. So in hindsight it shouldn’t really effect my results too much.

Exercise wise I have done very well. I completed a cardio and a weight training workout I had to miss out the final 2 sets of the session. Due to being called out to an urgent job at work. Still very pleased with the workout I got though.

Water intake has gone down a little as well, but I was struggling to drink so much water during the day. Due to going to the toilet 3 times as much. I know I need to continue with this, because I still reckon I am carrying a lot of excess water and toxins in my body. I am thinking about doing a 5 or 7 day juice detox to help get rid of these toxins. So if anyone who is reading this blog post and have been on a juice detox and can recommend me one to try. Please let me know in the comments below. The juice detox companies need to be in the UK though.

My body is also getting use to the extense and heavy weight training workouts. Because I am no longer getting that soreness after a good workout. Which is allowing me to have a good rest so that I can recuperate pain free for the day off in between weight training workouts.

Today I am going to get back on track with the diet plan and eliminate the snacking from the diet plan. Its hard at first because the body is so use to these foods, that it craves them. Not trying to make excuses, because at the end of the day. It’s me who puts the bar of chocolate into my hand and eats it. So I have only got myself to blame.
