Day 4, Mid Week Weigh In

Because this is the first week of The Fat Loss Program, I’m expecting to see big numbers on the scales this week in terms of body weight lost. Like I have mentioned before, because of all the junk I’ve been eating before I started the plan. My body is full of toxins and excess water.

By dieting, exercising and drinking more water throughout the day I should be able to shed quite a few pounds in excess water.

So for this week only, I’ve decided to have a mid week weigh in. Just to show you how much weigh you can lose in the first few days. By just doing a few simple things.

OK, time to step onto my body fat scales. At day 4 of The Fat Loss Program, I have lost a whopping 5.6 pounds in body weight. I haven’t took a body fat percentage reading. But I will at Mondays week one weigh in.

Mid week 1 weigh in : 220.6 pounds or 15 stone 10.6 pounds

I will probably lose another few pounds in the next few days. Which will push the weigh loss for week into near double figures. The body weight lost at week 2 will be a lot lower, probably just 2 to 3 pounds. Losing body weight is not whats important to me. It losing body fat which is more important.

If I could stay the same weight every week, but lower my body fat percentage I would be a very happy man. But that would mean, I would have to lose body fat whilst gaining muscle at the same time. Whilst it can be done by some people and people taking illegal drugs. I don’t think it is possible for a man who is nearing the age of 40.

So I am going to keep cutting my body weight till I’m at 190 lbs. Then re access my program, to see where I go from there. Don’t really want to go below 190lbs in body-weight. Been below that body weight in the past and I didn’t look right. Standing at 6 foot 2 inches tall, I did look rather skinny.

One thing I don’t want to become is a skinny fat man. But a high protein diet plan and the intense and heavy weight training sessions should be able to allow me to keep hold of as much lean body mass as I can. As I am cutting the body weight and body fat.

It’s the Easter weekend now and I have been given a few Easter eggs. That when I look at them I am tempted to eat. But no, I will resist these eggs, because I’ve got a weekly weigh in on Monday. Plus I thinking over the long term and eating these Easter eggs this set me back.

The Fat Loss Program is not about set backs and going backwards. Its about moving forward and reaching the goals that I set for myself.

Found your blog whilst looking for fat loss programs. Looks like you are doing very well with your program so far.

Nearly 6 pounds lost in just 4 days, whats the secret?

No secret Sarah, just drink lots of water evenly spread out through the day and everyone who is starting a diet. Will lose the same amount of weight and more.

Hi Jenny, will be posting more info on The Fat Loss Program over the coming weeks. Got the pictures of the meals, just need to find a spare minute to upload them to the blog and create a blog post.
